We decided we should stay closer to home today. Went into Chatillion to fill the car up and buy some groceries etc. Still can't get over the fact these stores just close down between 12 and 2 pm so everyone can have lunch. The only places that don't do this are basically Paris, Nice and the other major places, maybe a dozen of them. All the rest still close. The very earliest you go out to eat would be around 8.30pm. The toilets are something else you have to learn about. However we are pleased to say we are getting the hang of it all.
